Waxing is a form of semi-permanent hair removal from the root. Normally hair doesn’t grow back for about 4-6 weeks in the waxed area. However, it may vary from person to person. To get the most of our waxing service, we recommend our clients to follow before & after waxing precautions also.

Waxing (Before & After) Precautions
Before you get stripped:- 1. Your hair are at least 1/4” long.
- 2. Your hair have been at least 4 weeks since you last waxed or 2 weeks since you last shaved.
- 3. You are not on any medication that might cause your skin to be sensitive (accutane, retin A, hydroxy acid).
After you get stripped:
- 1. Avoid sun exposure for at least 24 hours.
- 2. Avoid swimming and physical activities for at least 48 hours.
- 3. Avoid retinoids, salicylic or glycolic acids for al least 5 days.
Helpful Tips:
- 1. Take an ibuprofen 30-45 minutes prior to the service to reduce pain.
- 2. Take a warm shower and lightly exfoliate the skin. This will provide an easier exit of the hair follicles and ensure you a smooth wax.
- 3. Do not apply any creams, gels or oils that may prevent the wax from adhering to the hair.
